Hello Backers!  We've had a busy few weeks as we wrapped up our campaign and sent out surveys as well as our Late Pledge period for those who missed out or wanted to add Moore cool Blood N'Bullets coolness to their pledge!  The great news is all the art has been formatted and was being proofed by multiple eyes last week, and we are on the cusp of going to print this week!  I am down in Arizona for the Arizona Fine Art Expo and the upcoming SwornFest Coffin Comics event, and our printer and fulfillment partner Artist Express is just down the road from me, so as soon as these beautiful books are ready, we will have signing updates and photos for you all!

We are also working away on The Midnight Cafe, my first ever short story anthology that will  launch on Kickstarter in March and feature 3 stories each nearly a full comic length and will include "All Hallows Deceive", "Endangered Species" and "Dead Silence" with themes like Supernatural Halloween Horror, Bigfoot and Sci-Fi!  My goal is to capture the mystery and thrills of books like Amazing Tales, Tales from the Crypt, Amazing Stories and The Twilight Zone in this new upcoming project!

Surveys have STARTED!

Hello Everybody!

We have sent (through Backerkit) a few of the surveys out to a random selection of backers.  If those surveys show no major errors or problems, we will send the remainder of the surveys out, via email, over the next couple of days.  If you have not received your survey for Blood N'Bullets #2 by FRIDAY, then there may be a problem, but please be patient until then, as I do not know how the batches will be sent from Backerkit.

When you DO get your survey, please fill it out, selecting the art you want on the covers of the books you chose and on the prints you chose.

This allows us to PRODUCE your order, and without that step, we won't know what to have the printer make.

Also, please fill out your MAILING ADDRESS in the survey.

This allows us to SHIP your order to you, and without that step, we won't know where to mail the order.

You can also ADD-ON to your order, if you wish through this survey, and even make changes to your existing order.

These surveys are being delivered via email to the email addresses associated with your Kickstarter accounts.

Please be sure to check your SPAM folder, as sometimes these things get re-directed.

If you have not received your survey by FRIDAY, January 14th, please reach out to me directly at [email protected] so that I may investigate the matter.

Kickstarter has collected funds... next are the surveys!

Kickstarter has now charged the cards and collected funds. There were a few of you who were unable to finalize your pledges, but not that many. Anyone who had that issue with their card can choose to "Late Pledge" for selected items during the survey period.  The start of the survey period was delayed a little bit by the holidays, but those surveys will be coming out very soon, after they complete the review process. Don't worry, you have NOT missed your survey yet.  When we send out the surveys, we will post an update here as well, and we will include a link to that "Late Pledge" store.

Thank you all very much for your support on this campaign for Blood N'Bullets #2!

We have more backers on this campaign than we have had on any other campaign that Maverick Arts Studio has ever presented!  The word is getting OUT!  Thank you all, both new and old, for supporting the stories coming from the mind of Monte Moore and Maverick Arts Studio!

We did it, funding is OVER, and now we begin the next phase of the campaign... the surveys!

We use Backerkit for our surveys, and you should expect those in the next week or so.

A Word About Surveys

The surveys are VERY IMPORTANT, friends,  The survey will collect ALL OF THE INFORMATION THAT WE NEED TO FULFILL YOUR PLEDGE. IF YOU DO NOT FILL OUT YOUR SURVEY, WE CANNOT SHIP YOUR REWARD.

The information that will be collected in the email survey is-

• Your Shipping Address
• Your Cover and Print Selections
• Any additional add-ons or changes to your existing pledge will also be addressed in the survey

So, as you can see, since all that information is collected via the survey, it is imperative that, when they come out, you get it sent back as soon as possible.  Once we have the surveys back, we can send the printing numbers over to the print company where they print and fulfill the orders.

You Should Expect Your Rewards To Ship In February

We have a MARKEDLY shorter turnaround time than most Kickstarter campaigns, as we always shoot for (and achieve) about 90 - 100 days from launch of the campaign to the shipment of rewards to backers.  This timetable breaks down in this way-

• First 30 days - Funding (this is the time the campaign is running)
• Second 30 days - Surveys (this is when we collect all of the information that we need for production and shipping.) If all of the surveys are returned before the end of this section, we can start the next step earlier! 
• Last 30 days (or sooner) - Production and Shipping from our partner, Artist Express (during this phase, the comics and prints are printed by Artist Express, and any stretch goal items that are produced by other vendors are sent TO Artist Express for in-house fulfillment.  After all of the items are printed and stretch goal packs are compiled, they begin the fulfillment process.  By using our printing partner for fulfillment services, we eliminate wasted time and possible damage caused by sending these products to another entity for fulfillment)
• DIGITAL REWARDS ARE RELEASED VIA EMAIL ON THE FIRST DAY OF PHYSICAL REWARD SHIPMENTS

We will keep you updated as these steps progress, and as you get closer every day to having that physical copy of Blood N'Bullets #2 in your hands!
